H.O.P.E., Inc. is the name of the non-profit corporation based at the New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church. Its mission is to provide programs and services that help enrich and improve the quality of life for individuals, children and families. The H.O.P.E., Inc. GO Center is one of the programs that has been formed under this umbrella.

Are your children experiencing the success that you would like for them to have with their schoolwork? Are you seeing a pattern of poor grades, or do you have evidence that your child/children are struggling with a specific subject, or more than one? It may be time to consider tutoring at the H.O.P.E., Inc. GO Center.

In the GO Center, students in all grade levels can receive homework help and tutoring in a variety of subjects by a caring group of adult volunteers from the New Rising Star Baptist Church, St. Philip Presbyterian Church and the Tarrant County College. Senior citizens are also welcome for computer training.

In the GO Center, students will have access to a fully equipped computer lab with state of the art computer equipment and the internet. The H.O.P.E., Inc. GO Center also provides mentoring and a focus on planning for higher education along with educational materials from colleges and universities. Come and be a part of this community initiative.

GO Center Schedule             Tuesdays and Wednesdays Weekly            4:30-6:30 p.m.
                                               Alternating Saturdays of the month              10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

This schedule will be in effect until June 1, 2011.
