Music Ministry * Earnestine J. Green - Minister of Music

The music ministry's goal is to provide songs of praise during the worship experience that uplift the name of Jesus. It's all about HIM!

The music ministry consists of the following groups:

a.) Cherubims (Toddlers) - These little ones have not yet made a "public profession of faith", but are being trained to use their voices to "Praise the Lord". This group sings every 3rd Sunday of the month, and is under the direction of the pianist, Rose Pointer.

b.) Youth Choir (Youth through age 17) These YOUTH have accepted Christ as Savior. They are growing in their knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ. They are encouraged to always do their best when praising the Lord. This group sings every 3rd Sunday of the month.

c.) Baptist Men's Fellowship Chorus - This ALL MALE chorus is an extension of the Baptist Men's Fellowship ministry. This group sings when there is a 5th Sunday in the month, and during "Men Emphasis Month". Rehearsals are called as needed. All MEN are invited to be a part of the Baptist Men's Fellowship ministry and chorus.

d.) Sanctuary Choir - This volunteer choir consists of a diverse group of singers, both men and women of various age groups. It is the feature choir of the church, and travels with the Pastor as requested. They minister in song on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sundays of the month. They rehearse on Tuesdays before the 1st and 4th Sundays, and as called by the Minister of Music. They are best known for their traditional "Old School" style of singing, but are well rounded in all types of music. This choir is actively recruiting MALE voices. All choir members are asked to purchase robes.
