The Reverend Isadore Edwards, Jr. became PASTOR of The New Rising Star
Church in 1972. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He received a
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Physical Education from the historical
Bethune Cookman College. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Religious
Education from Florida Memorial College, and a Master of Divinity Degree
from Stetson University. These accomplishments he counts as secondary
to the call that God has placed upon his life.
He is a God-sent PREACHER, PASTOR, and TEACHER who is unashamed of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Edwards' BOLDNESS in proclaiming
what "Thus saith the Lord..." has gained him national prominence.
