Youth Ministry

"YOUTH on Assignment" - Reverend Marcus McDonald - Youth Director

Our YOUTH meet every Saturday before the third Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. Choir Rehearsal will be held from 11 - 11:45 a.m., followed by Youth meeting. Youth meetings will generally consist of one or more of the following activities: Bible Study on youth-related issues/topics, Christian-based movies, games, a recreational outing, and/or evangelism. (A lunch meal will be served at each youth meeting.)

Youth Church will be held each 4th Sunday. Youth (ages 2-17) will worship in their various age groups, in their designated location, for Christ-centered praise, worship and teaching. (Youth will be dismissed to the chapel after the "tithe and offering" period during regular morning worship).

Every 3rd Sunday is "Youth Sunday." The YOUTH are in charge of worship in the main sanctuary. The Cherubim and YOUTH Choir (See Music Ministry) provide the music, and the YOUTH ushers serve. They are responsible for the receipt of the offering(s), announcements, and the visitors' welcome. This gives the general church an opportunity to see the results of their participation in "Youth Praise and Worship" and is also an opportunity for the YOUTH to demonstrate their growth in relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Nursery services are provided for those children 5 years old and under. The Nursery is directed by Sister Pat Donaldson. Tender loving care is provided for the small ones during worship service. (Bible Study, Recreation, Nap Time, and Snacks)
